The Entrepreneur Toolbox is designed to help you through your entrepreneurial journey and work on your venture idea.
Apply these thinking tools early, flexibly and iteratively, but most of all intelligently.
What do we mean by this? Hear some participants describe the journey on video here.
You are not expected to follow this guide rigidly. Not all tools are compulsory for each project. The screen text under 'What's this for?' on each Tool page may help you decide how applicable an exercise is to your project. The companion book The Smart Entrepeneuris also helpful. There is a suggested order for using the Tools, from top left to bottom right, but different ventures have different needs, so the order may change. The horizontal length and position of each Tool also suggests how the Tools work in parallel and when you could start thinking about a certain issue or task.
The Workshops are evaluation moments when your coaches will give feedback on your business case so far and offer advice on what to do next. The final workshop (no. 4) is also a final assessment.
How to navigate the Toolbox:
From the Toolbox home page, clicking on the progress bar for each Tool will take you to the learning content for that Tool. For workshops, run your mouse over the word 'Workshop' to be directed to related content and templates. On every screen, clicking on the 'hammer' button at the top left corner will take you back to the Toolbox home page.
You might have to revisit a Tool more than once during your journey, because you've uncovered new insights which lead you to reframe your business case. This is a normal part of the entrepreneurial process, so don't see it as a setback. Enjoy the journey!
