Ananas Anam's investment proposal
Lital describes the type of finance that the venture intends to raise, and importantly she also makes clear how the venture intends to use the money raised.
Tip: while this team's proposal is very well presented, we would not recommend that you propose a specific equity offer and valuation at such an early stage in a venture (e.g. £450k for 20%). This may immediately prompt the investor to question your valuation and lead the conversation away from your real objective, which is to raise their interest in considering an investment.
A better approach is to explain that the venture will need to raise a certain amount of cash from a certain type of investor, over a certain period of time, for a negotiable equity stake. This leaves many possibilities open and will allow the conversation to continue, if the investor is interested.
